De pre-1973 periode van Pink Floyd vind ik erg ondergewaardeerd. Waarom luisteren zo weinig mensen naar hun eerste albums maar wel allemaal 'The Wall' ?

Omdat op het Album THe final Cut eigenlijk geen nummer er echt bovenuitsteekt, heb ik er niets van bij staan.
Vind het wel een zwaar ondershat album, zeer goed vooral als geheel.

Ja ik vind van wel. Kijk maar eens naar de lijstjes die hier gepost worden.

albums als "piper at the gates of dawn" en "atom heart mother" worden hier goed ontvangen en beoordeelt, volgens mij

Ok, maar het gaat hier ook over het aantal stemmen. The Wall heeft bijvoorbeeld zo'n 120 stemmen meer dan The Piper. En ik heb het ook gewoon over de lijstjes hier, ik zie bijna alleen maar nummers uit hun albums vanaf Dark Side of the Moon. The Wall heeft zo'n 120 stemmen meer dan The Piper. En dan zal het ook nog gewoon aan mij liggen zeker, want ik ken heel wat mensen die zich pink floyd fan durven noemen maar nooit luisteren naar de pre-1973 periode van Pink Floyd. Dat vind ik toch spijtig.

Ja, ik ben het eens met Toon. Kijk maar naar de lijstjes. Alleen Toon, jij en ik hebben nummers van 'A saucerful of secrets' of eerder opgenomen in de lijst. Dat vind ik erg vreemd, omdat ik het persoonlijk juist hun beste periode vind. Floyd-klassiekers als 'Interstellar overdrive' en 'Astronomy Domine' mag je toch wel wat vaker in de lijstjes verwachten...
