Net als bij die andere Canadese singer-songwriter wordt het waarschijnlijk pas echt interessant bij Vol 2 en 3. Maar ik moet zeggen dat ik wel nieuwsgierig ben. Het idee komt van Elliot Roberts en Joel Bernstein, die ook bij Neil Youngs Archives betrokken zijn. En Neil heeft zijn mening ook gegeven.

Op Spotify heb ik wel een paar steekproeven gedaan. Sugar Mountain door Joni, vroege versies van The Circle Game, Urge for Going. Maar ook wel wat doublures en nog erg kaal van opzet en stilistisch inwisselbaar. Ik vraag me af wat de 'herbeluisterwaarde' van deze set is. Waarschijnlijk het meest de moeite waard voor Canterbury House 1967, die eerder ook los (alleen op vinyl?) verscheen.
