na The Truth and The Light eindelijk meer muziek uit de 9 seizoenen van The X Files (een 4 cd box!).
alleen te kopen op de site van de platenmaatschappij en in een beperkte oplage van 3000 stuks.
er zit al een volume 2 in de pijplijn.

Eindelijk krijgt The X-Files een fatsoenlijke cd release. Ik moet bekennen dat ik dit niet aan had zien komen. Ik had de vorige release (The Truth and the Light) al, alsmede de soundtrack van de 2e film, maar dit is ronduit geweldig. Uiteraard staat er nog steeds een hoop muziek niet op, hoe kan het ook anders, met een tv-serie van 9 seizoenen lang, maar een hoop essentials staan er wel op. Ik ben vooral blij met de muziek van the Post-modern Prometheus en van The Goldberg Variation, maar ik vind de hele selectie vrij goed. Leuk ook om de muziek toch ook te horen evolueren over de jaren heen. Ik ben benieuwd naar volume 2. La-la land records is sowieso lekker bezig zie ik, want ook voor Star Trek: The Next Generation word een soortgelijke release gegeven.
