Deel 2!

Het eerste deel bevat de Fish jaren en dit de begin jaren van Hogarth. Of er een deel zal verschijnen vraag ik me af aangezien de EMI jaren (behoudens her en der wat distributie deals) voorbij waren.

De box bestaat uit 8 schijfjes waarbij dus hele concerten op 2 verschillende schijfjes staan, wat qua tijd natuurlijk ook niet anders kon. De laatste schijf is verreweg het kortst met 4 tracks en een speelduur van iets boven de 10 minuten. Wel een heel leuk schijfje overigens met akoestische radio opnames.

Wat opvalt is dat je zou verwachten de geluidskwaliteit van deze box beter zou moeten zijn dan de eersteling. Helaas is dat niet zo. De 1ste twee schijfjes zijn zelfs matig te noemen. Een erg bedompt geluid. Het Poolse concert is het beste wat in deze box zit. Jammer is enkel dat ze het concert chronologisch brengen. Opzich erg logisch maar nu zit je halverwege Brave opeens met een disc wissel en dat is toch ook maar zozo.

Het boxje zelf ziet er prima uit met een redelijk karig boekje waar dan wel weer allerlei foto's zitten welke niet eerder gebruikt zijn door de band. De bio zal voor de meeste wel bekend zijn al komen er her en der wat onbekendere feitjes voorbij.

Al met al een leuke box met prima muziek waar soms het geluid het ietwat laat afweten zonder echt heel irritant te worden.
