Stay Awake (1988)

vooral de medleys zijn prachtig , met als uitschieter baby mine , medley two en pinocchio medley !

Als je Harry Nilsson eeuwig als up-date ingesteld hebt, kom je soms iets onverwachts tegen. Zoals deze prachtplaat waarop die lieve Beaster mij attent maakt.
De zoete, suikerspinroze Disneysfeer wordt raak getroffen en ook de licht psychedelische kant ervan. De ouderwetse Disney, toen Walt er nog de baas was, daar lust ik wel pap van en zo van ook deze plaat, die ik nog wel even zal blijven roteren.
En ja beaster, die medleys zijn het mooist ! En heerlijk om Harry weer eens te horen ! En Ringo !!!

het zal niet ieders ding zijn, maar dit is een zeer fraai album met veelal prachtige interpretaties van klassieke liedjes uit Disney films.
